ಭಾರತದ ದಿಗ್ಗಜ ಸಚಿನ್ ತೆಂಡೂಲ್ಕರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಬ್ಯಾಟ್ಸ್‌ಮನ್ ವಿರಾಟ್ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ತಾಯಂದಿರ ದಿನದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಅನೇಕ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ತಾಯಿಯ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ದಿನಾಂಕಗಳು ಭಿನ್ನವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಇದನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಮೇ ತಿಂಗಳ ಎರಡನೇ ಭಾನುವಾರದಂದು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಮೇ 8 ರಂದು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
“ನಮಗೆ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿರ ಚಿಂತೆಗಳಿರಬಹುದು, ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆಯೇ ಎಂಬುದು ನಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿಯ ಕಾಳಜಿ ವಹಿಸಿ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಇದೇ ತಾಯಿಯ ಪ್ರೀತಿ! ನಮ್ಮ ದತ್ತು ಪಡೆದ ಬೆಕ್ಕಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ಸಚಿನ್ ತೆಂಡೂಲ್ಕರ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಪೋಸ್ಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
